Join our Preserve Stewards' Day at Eagle Peak Preserve! Come meet fellow nature-loving friends and work together to trim an overgrown section of trail at Eagle Peak Preserve, land we are conserving in the headwaters of the San Diego River. This Preserve Stewards event takes place from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on San Diego River Park Foundation preserves near Julian or Descanso, approximately a 1.5-hour drive from downtown San Diego. We will meet initially at Eagle Peak Ranch (directions below) and caravan to the trailhead for Eagle Peak Preserve.
In the spirit of being natural stewards, we encourage you volunteers to carpool. Volunteers can spend even more time with like-minded people who are all coming in the interest of environmental conservation, while reducing vehicle emissions. However, carpooling will not be organized by the San Diego River Park Foundation and arrangements must be made between volunteers. Volunteers are responsible for the decisions they make when carpooling, including choices regarding safety. The San Diego River Park Foundation is not liable for any risks associated with carpooling.
