Calling all artists and supporters of the San Diego River Park Foundation! Our Art Response Team (A.R.T.) is being called to quickly fix some graffiti that has appeared at the River Center at Grant Park over the weekend that impacts the community mural that was painted during our annual River Days events in May of this year. We are looking for a handful of volunteers to fix the graffiti, which can be seen below. It is crucial that we get it fixed quickly before any other graffiti appears!
Here are a few tips to help you prepare for the event:
- Google Maps: River Center at Grant Park
- Please arrive at 11:45am to get checked in on time and allow time for parking.
- Be sure to dress in clothes that can get a little dirty! This is outdoor paint that will not wash out of clothing.
- Closed toe shoes are required. No sandals, Tom's or other flats. You must wear sturdy tennis or hiking shoes.
- We will provide all tools and supplies for you to use.
- Community Service hours can be verified for those who need them.
- For safety reasons, no pets are allowed at this event.
- There are no restroom facilities at this location. Please plan accordingly.
