Set against a stunning riparian landscape, Descanso Pond Preserve is home to diverse habitats waiting to be explored. Whether you're a seasoned naturalist or just getting started, your contributions will help protect and celebrate our region’s rich biodiversity. Join us and be part of this exciting challenge!

We will meet at Park & Ride Lot #29 outside Descanso and carpool in a few cars with high clearance. The meeting address is 7920 Japatul Valley Rd, Descanso, CA 91916. Please arrive at the Park & Ride 10 minutes before 8 a.m. The drive to the Preserve will take approximately 10 minutes. We will depart the park & ride by 8:30 am
