Join our staff and volunteers to hike to the top of our newly acquired open space property, Lillian Hill. From the top of the hill take in breathtaking views of the flowing Three Sisters Waterfall and the expansive San Diego River Gorge.
Please bring a bag lunch or snacks to enjoy at the top of the hill under the oak tree.
This mile is 1.5 miles, there and back.
What is Lillian Hill?
An expansive 80 acre property at Lillian Hill was placed on the market for potentially 5 building sites. It is surrounded by National Forest and its development would have a significant impact. We set out to buy this land so it can be conserved forever for the badgers, cougars, eagles, falcons, majestic oaks and so much more. Now that it is purchased, we can begin removing the scars of decades of use of the land and heal it.
