Who We Are

The Garden Club is a newly formed group of volunteers looking to improve their community! We meet twice a month on the second and fourth Sunday, at one of two locations eager for our assistance! Currently we are gardening at the Point Loma Native Plant Garden, but will soon be expanding to the River Mouth area in Ocean Beach. Events include pruning, weeding, watering, planting, mulching, trail maintenance, and more! These gardens belong to YOU, and everyone in the community is welcome, no experience needed! These events will be led either by SDRPF staff or one of our volunteer experts.

Parking is limited to the street, so please arrive early to accommodate!

What We Do

If you are looking for a weekend beautification project and to engage with your community, you've come to the right place! Volunteers can help maintain and expand various community garden areas around San Diego, including the Point Loma Native Plant Garden and the River Mouth in Ocean Beach. Environmental stewardship begins in our own backyards, so join us in the second and fourth Sunday of each month (unless otherwise stated) from 9am - 11am for a variety of gardening activities! Bring your friends, neighbors, coworkers, or loved ones and help make these bright examples of our community shine even brighter!
