Curious Kids - “Bird Walk, Talk & Squawk”

Calendar Happens On Feb 21, 2022
Time 10am - 12pm
Expired

Description

Do you Tweet? Call your Peeps? Or do you give a Hoot?  Well, you might be a bird. Birds have been tweeting a lot longer than people! Flock to our next Family Event in our Curious Kids Series all about birds. We will learn how to identify birds in flight, keep an eagle eye out for our feathered friends, and maybe even meet a bird up-close. Space is limited, so register soon as the early bird gets the worm.

In this Program:

  • Meet birds of prey presented by Raptor Handler, Charles Gailband from the San Diego County Department of Parks and Recreation.
  • Bird walk led by Audubon Society member and bird author, Phil Pryde.
  • Make & Take: Bird Feeder

Join us on Presidents’ Day to celebrate learning, animals, and our local San Diego River environment!

Family Friendly. Local.
