The Point Loma Native Plant Garden is a hidden gem! Winding trails will take you through multiple different mini-habitat areas as you explore just how beautiful native plants can be. Helpful interpretive signs will make it easy if you want to make a mental note about which of these beauties might make a nice addition to your own yard or outdoor space!
Please join us for guided tour, and/or roll up your sleeves to help with a fun beautification project. On June 25, volunteers will be helping with planting some native plants, plus some additional projects, such as watering, pruning, weeding, path maintenance, and more! These events will be guided by SDRPF staff and awesome volunteer leaders, and all tools will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get a little dirty. Sun protection and a reusable water bottle are a good idea too! You're welcome to bring your own gloves, but it is not required (we have gloves available to loan). Please arrive by 8:45am for check-in. Kids are welcome to join in the fun with their parent or adult guardian.
