The RiverWatch Team goes out every month to collect water quality data to document the health of the San Diego River. These trends inform management of the River, and the RiverWatch teams can also serve as an early alert system for emerging issues. We welcome your joining the team this month helping us continue this important effort, and hope you’ll enjoy the experience and join again in the future. Please note: RSVPs are required so we can be sure to have the right number of volunteers. You will receive additional information about the event once you RSVP.
This small but mighty team collects samples at 9 different locations in East County and the West Team goes to 7 locations in San Diego, led by our very amazing volunteer leaders. The team drives between locations, and there is a short walk/hike from the cars to the sampling locations at each site.
