Please join local bird experts in the heart of Mission Valley at the River Center at Grant Park to observe and count the birds that call this section of the river home! Come see nature’s biodiversity and beauty while getting a sneak peek of Grant Park’s progress as we build a unique youth education center to steward a new generation of nature advocates.

Here are a few tips to help you prepare for the event:
- You can park in the round-about at Grant Park or take the trolley to the Rio Vista station
- Bring your own binoculars if you have them, and we usually have some to loan out
- Items to Bring: Drinking water, snack, hat, other forms of sun protection, sturdy shoes
- Kids are welcome, with adult supervision.
- Volunteer service hours can be verified at this event
