Get outside, connect with an amazing community, and help bring a new eco-park to life! Join us for a fun and fulfilling morning at Grant Park for River Days, where you’ll connect with others, enjoy the fresh air, and make a real difference. This future nature education center and eco-park will provide free STEM and environmental learning experiences to thousands of underserved students per year! Help create a beacon of green space in the heart of Mission Valley by joining your community in vegetation removal and weeding, trash pick-up, graffiti removal, and occasional planting.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a flexible schedule to contribute 2 hours of service. Events are held every Thursday from 8 AM to 10 AM. Find other Grant Park volunteer events HERE!
River Days is our annual 9-day celebration of the San Diego River! SDRPF and an estimated 20 partners host fun nature outings, volunteer opportunities, art activities, bike rides, hikes, and much more along all 52 miles of the river.
The celebration kicks off with the 5K Walk for Wildlife and Fun Run on May 9th. JOIN US! To see the full River Days schedule, click here.
