Are you looking to sweat, get dirty, and have fun, all while helping to create Mission Valley's River Center at Grant Park? We are planting dozens of native trees at our new nature education center and eco-park over the next few weeks and we are looking for strong volunteers to dig holes in preparation and plant trees. Come join us! You can help create your lasting impact in the community by helping plant the next generation of shade cover in the heart of Mission Valley! These are 24" box trees, so you will be working with other members of the community in groups to make it happen! Many hands make light work, so we encourage you to branch out and invite your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers to take part in this awesome environmental endeavor! We will also be spreading mulch, weeding, and watering plants, so these events are open to all ages.
Events are held every Thursday from 8 AM to 10 AM. Find other River Center events HERE!
