Join us on Saturday, April 26th from 9 AM - Noon for our monthly community river clean-up! Come work outdoors with like-minded members of the community to help remove thousands of pounds of trash in just three hours! If you don't mind getting a little dirty, then this may be the perfect fit for you!
Each year, The San Diego River Park Foundation volunteers remove more than 200,000 pounds of trash from our River. Without our amazing volunteers, this trash would be left to pollute native animal habitats, create unsightly piles in our parks and public spaces, leach contaminants into the water, and could be washed out into our ocean and beaches!
This Clean & Green is part of Creek to Bay, the largest single-day cleanup in San Diego County! The event is put on by I Love a Clean San Diego and the San Diego River Park Foundation is happy to host some of the roughly 4,000 volunteers that will be cleaning this year, after the success of nearly 90,000 pounds of trash cleaned up last year.
