If you care about the environment and don't mind getting a little dirty, then this may be the perfect fit for you!
Each year, The San Diego River Park Foundation volunteers remove more than 200,000 pounds of trash from our River. Without our amazing volunteers, this trash would be left to pollute native animal habitats, create unsightly piles in our parks and public spaces, leach contaminants into the water, and could be washed out into our ocean and beaches!
Join us on May 17 from 9 am - noon for our monthly Clean & Green Team community clean-up, where you can expect to work with your fellow volunteers to remove more than a ton of trash from the Mission Valley Preserve!
This event is part of San Diego River Days, a two weekend-long event with dozens of activities celebrating the San Diego River. Learn more about other River Days events by visiting: www.sdriverdays.org.
