Come beautify Santee's Town Center Park East along the San Diego River for River Refresh Day! Join us and SDGE's Environmental All Star volunteer team for a unique opportunity to help paint panels with native plants and animals to celebrate our local biodiversity. As a volunteer, you’ll connect with fellow nature lovers and leave your lasting mark within the community. Together, we’ll help beautify the park and inspire the community to think about our local native flora and fauna. All designs will be outlined and ready for volunteers, so no experience required!
River Refresh Day Projects Include:
- Paint wood panels
- Paint storage container
- Trash clean-up around the park
- Guided hike and other opportunities for interpretation

Additional Information:
Attire: Long Pants and closed-toe shoes that you don't mind getting dirty (This is outdoor paint and will stain clothing!)
Items to Bring: Reusable water bottle, hat, other forms of sun protection
For safety reasons, no pets are allowed at this event
There are restroom facilities at the event
