Community Clean-Up @ Forester Creek - Saturday, 6/13/2026

Calendar Happens On Jun 13, 2026
Time 9am - 12pm
Expired

Description

Get out into nature, meet new friends, and help create a healthier river for wildlife and people!

Join us for our monthly Community River Clean-Ups that make a huge impact. Each year, San Diego River Park Foundation volunteers remove more than 200,000 pounds of trash from our River.

Without this incredible community effort, trash would continue to pollute native wildlife habitats, degrade parks and public spaces, contaminate our waterways, and could eventually wash out into our beaches and ocean!

This month's cleanup will be at Forester Creek, a vital riparian habitat home to countless native plant and animal species. Due to channelization upstream, trash accumulates at this tributary of the San Diego River, making it a high-priority area to restore. By helping clean Forester Creek, you'll contribute to the health of the entire San Diego River watershed.

We hope you can join us for a rewarding morning of environmental stewardship, community connection, and positive impact alongside like-minded neighbors and new friends!
