Join the River Rescue Special Recovery Team! We tackle hard to reach trash that we have collected data on, making a huge impact for the San Diego River's health and community enjoyment.
If you are someone that likes to think out-of-the-box and come up with creative solution for unique problems, this is the team for you!
Due to the nature of these events, we do not authorize community service hour verification for River Rescues. Locations are chosen one week in advance and are shared via email. Chosen locations are based on need, using trash data collected by our assessment team. Due to the high risk of Hepatitis A exposure, we strongly encourage volunteers to be vaccinated for the Hepatitis A virus prior to participating.
If you don’t need community service hours and are up for the challenge, this is a great opportunity for volunteers looking to work hard, get outdoors, and make new friends.
