Looking for a volunteer opportunity that allows you to explore the great outdoors while making a difference? Then this event is for you! Please join us at the South Rim at the Eagle Peak Preserve - we will install natural erosion control barriers, rake out fire breaks, distribute native seed and plant oak seedlings. There are labor intensive and light duty opportunities. This event includes a 4.5 mile round-trip hike.
Meet: At Mile Marker 5 on Eagle Peak Road. Carpool is required: there are only 15 spaces on the side of the road.

Preparation:
- Please arrive 15 minutes early to get checked in on time.
- Plan to hike in the preserve approximately 4.5 miles round trip.
- Be sure to dress in clothes that can get a little dirty - long pants are required and long sleeves are highly recommended. A hat, sunscreen, or any other types of sun protection are also recommended for all of our outdoor events.
- Closed toe shoes are required. No sandals, Tom's or other flats. You must wear sturdy tennis or hiking shoes.
- Please bring plenty of drinking water and lunch or snacks.
- There are no restroom facilities at this location. Please plan accordingly.

- For safety reasons, no pets are allowed at this event.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when volunteering. We require a supervision ratio of at least one adult for every five children present
