It is invasive removal season along El Capitan Reservoir. Please join us to help remove non-native invasive species from the San Diego Watershed. We will work as a team to transport cut bundles of giant reed (arundo donax) from the northeastern shore of the El Capitan Reservoir to the boat launch area where we will dispose of the debris in dumpsters. This is a huge effort and any support you can provide is much appreciated. Many hands make light work!
What to expect: We will get dirty. Please wear a hat and sunscreen, long sleeves, long pants and sturdy close-toed shoes. All tools will be provided. If you prefer your own gloves or safety glasses please bring them. Please bring plenty of drinking water and snacks or lunch. This event will include a boat ride. Be prepared to have fun!
