Famosa Slough is a City of San Diego Wetlands Preserve. It is also a California Marine Conservation Area. Join this event to help encouragine native vegetation and to reduce the risk of fire, mainly by pulling invasive weeds as well as trimming vegetation that is encroaching on trails. A quick tip: if you install the iNaturalist app on your phone before the event, you can use it to identify plants or animals that you find interesting!
