Join our Preserve Steward's Day at Egale Peak Ranch! Come meet fellow nature-loving friends and care for beautiful Eagle Peak Ranch, one of the preserves we acquired for land conservation of the headwaters of the San Diego River. Come see what we can accomplish together!
The event is located at Eagle Peak Ranch in Julian, 5030 Eagle Peak Rd., approximately a 1.5 hour drive from downtown San Diego.
- Please bring plenty of drinking water, snacks and lunch. We sill start at 8am and finish by 11am, and enjoy lunch together in the shade from 11am - 12pm.
- Long pants and closed toed shoes required.
In the spirit of being nature stewards, the San Diego River Park Foundation encourages volunteers to carpool. Volunteers can spend even more time with like-minded people who are all coming in the interest of environmental conservation, while reducing vehicle emissions. However, carpooling will not be organized by the San Diego River Park Foundation and arrangements must be made between volunteers. Volunteers are responsible for the decisions they make when carpooling, including choices regarding safety. The San Diego River Park Foundation is not liable for any risks associated with carpooling.
