Join our Preserve Steward's Day at Boulder Creek Preserve! Come meet fellow nature-loving friends and care for beautiful Boulder creek Preserve, one of the preserves we acquired for land conservation of the headwaters of the San Diego River. Together, we will remove invasive non-native plants and tend to native plants in our restoration site! Take the opportunity to visit our stunning preserve and come see what we can accomplish together!
Preserve Stewards events will take place from 9:00am - Noon on San Diego River Park Foundation preserves near Julian or Descanso, approximately a 1.5-hour drive from downtown San Diego.
In the spirit of being natural stewards, we encourage you volunteers to carpool. Volunteers can spend even more time with like-minded people who are all coming in the interest of environmental conservation, while reducing vehicle emissions. However, carpooling will not be organized by the San Diego River Park Foundation and arrangements must be made between volunteers. Volunteers are responsible for the decisions they make when carpooling, including choices regarding safety. The San Diego River Park Foundation is not liable for any risks associated with carpooling.
