Looking for a fun beautification project to impact your local community? Look no further, as our lovely Point Loma Native Plant Garden and River Mouth at the river estuary are always blooming with projects! Activities may include watering, pruning, weeding, path maintenance, plant sign installation, painting, bench repairs, and more! The garden is also open for tours at this time. These events will be guided by SDRPF staff or volunteer led and all tools will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get a little dirty. Sun protection and a reusable water bottle are a good idea too! You're welcome to bring your own gloves, but it is not required. Events take place 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month from 9am - 11am unless otherwise stated. Please arrive by 8:45am for check-in. Family friendly!
1/22/23 - We have ordered a 40 yard dumpster from the City Rangers and we are looking to fill it! We will be pruning both large and small shrubs and need volunteers to assist in getting the brush into the dumpster. We are accepting volunteers both Saturday afternoon (1/21) and Sunday (1/22) from 9:00-11:00am. If you or your group is interested in joining us on Saturday, please contact SDRPF Staff Shane Conta at (619)871-9665 or by email at Shane@sandiegoriver.org.
