Join the RiverWatch team in monthly water quality data collection to help monitor the health of the San Diego River! Our efforts guide river management and act as the eyes, ears, and voice of the river to alert for potential issues. Our dedicated team collects samples at 9 locations in East County and 7 locations in the City of San Diego, led by our fantastic volunteer leaders. Volunteers drive between locations and take short walks to each sampling site. This is a great opportunity for hands-on fieldwork and to be a part of community science! If you are over 18, carpooling options may be available, or you can drive your own car.
RSVP is required to ensure we have the right number of volunteers. After you RSVP, you will receive additional event details
